At Total Foodservice "quality" is not just a throw away term to use as a sales hook – Quality is a control, a system of procedures which ensure that every product, every service and every person you come into contact with in our business is of the very highest standard.

For many years Total Foodservice has recognised the need to achieve high standards in quality of product and service which is why we have a team of people dedicated to achieving quality through all aspects of our business.

Our business is supplying you, the caterer, with goods of the highest quality. The knowledge that we comply with all aspects of UK & EU Food Hygiene legislation & regulations is an integral part of everything we do.

We are justifiably proud of our ongoing success here which has enabled us to achieve sustained industry-wide recognition. Our Quality Management System meets the requirements of ISO9001:2008 covering all aspects of business operations including a full Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) & food safety system which is continually developed to reflect best working practice and is externally audited to the foodservice industry Higher Level CMi Wholesale, Storage & Distribution Standard.

Operational Quality

We have invested heavily to ensure that we exceed customer expectations in everything we do and maintain exceptional Quality Standards.

Transport – Over 30 vehicles ranging from 3.5 tonne transit vans to 10 tonne HGV's, all multi-temperature enabled with a dedicated refrigeration system for each compartment.

Warehousing – Multi temperature stores at both depots with reliable and efficient refrigeration systems using expansion valve technology saving energy and benefiting the environment. All of the temperature controlled stores have dual systems to ensure a continually maintained temperature, regardless of power supply.

Operations staff – All receive progressive and intensive training ensuring we pick, load and deliver your orders accurately, in good condition and at the correct temperature.

Drivers – Basic Food Hygiene trained so they understand the critical nature of the products they are carrying.

SAFED training and IT Systems – Running on a Linux system to ensure total reliability our bespoke system allows us to track every aspect of a customer's order and holds all our customer data safely and securely.
