ALLERGEN STATEMENT

At Total Foodservice, we are committed to supporting our customers in meeting their obligations under the Food Information to Consumers (FIC) Regulations, which came into effect on 13th December 2014.

We subscribe to Erudus, the food industry’s collaborative platform for sharing accurate and consistent product data. For suppliers who do not currently contribute to Erudus, we request product information directly via a structured template, which is then uploaded into our internal systems.

All food information, including allergen data, is provided in good faith. As we do not manufacture the products we supply, we rely on the accuracy and completeness of information given to us by our suppliers.

While we make every effort to ensure this information is kept up to date, we cannot accept responsibility for any inaccuracies or omissions originating from our supply partners.

Please be aware that product specifications—such as ingredients, nutritional values, and allergy or dietary advice—may change. We always recommend that the product label is read carefully before use or consumption, as it remains the most reliable source of allergen and nutritional information provided by the manufacturer.

Products in Quarantine

From time to time, a product may be placed in quarantine. This means a supplier has issued a batch recall, and the product is under review. During this period, the product will not be available for purchase until it has been confirmed safe and all concerns have been resolved. This process is part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and compliance.
