Nasi Goreng Fried Rice (Side)

For the Nasi Goreng Rice..

To Make the Nasi Goreng...

  1. Steam rice until cooked; chill down. (Tip: chilled rice is easier to stir fry)
  2. Separately stir fry onions until lightly golden. Add carrots and green beans; stir fry until cooked.
  3. Combine Nasi Goreng Paste, cooked rice and vegetables together; mix well until rice is evenly coated with sauce and piping hot.
  4. Once cooked, place onto a clean board, cover with baking parchment and press with a heavy weight. Leave in the fridge overnight.
  5. Place in a serving wok/pot and garnish; keep warm at serving area.
