40 per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5pm
Based from our Huddersfield depot, we are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant who enjoys working in a fast paced office environment. In working for a family run company, you are more than just a number and play a role in the success of the business.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a digital savvy marketeer to join an exciting and dynamic Foodservice wholesaler.
The main purpose of the role is to support the Sales and Marketing Team in the achievement of sales targets.
The role will be predominantly marketing focused, assisting with the creation and implementation of marketing communications including printed and online collateral, email marketing, sales promotions and incentives, content marketing, website and social media.
This is an exciting role to assist the Marketing Coordinator with day-to-day tasks as well as strategic planning for promotional activities and product launches.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Monthly promotions
- Monthly web stories & articles
- Monthly marketing emails to customer base
- Update social media channels with engaging content
- Assist with the creation of directories
- Update both company and online ordering websites
- Design menus, POS, flyers etc for customers
This is an excellent opportunity for either a graduate with some design or marketing work experience or someone with 1-2 years of marketing or design experience in a professional capacity. It would suit an ambitious individual, who is looking to further their career and learn from those around them in a fun and encouraging environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Indesign and photoshop)
- Proficient in Word Processing and Spreadsheets
- Understands the basics of Social Media
- Understands Web and Social Media Analytics
- Highly Organised
- Experience / knowledge of the Foodservice industry
- An interest in food related trends and topics
